YOOEATING is a Korean American comfort food channel that explores Korean home cooking, street food, and culinary history.

IRENE YOO is the chef and creator of Yooeating, which ran as a Brooklyn-based popup for over 6 years. She was born in Detroit to Korean immigrant parents, raised on home-cooked Korean meals in LA and street vendors in Seoul.

In addition to formerly working as a photo & video producer for Food Network, Irene has developed recipes and penned essays for Food52, FoodNetwork.com, and Slate, and previously presented about Korean culinary history at The Korea Society and The Museum of Food and Drink.
